I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself and the reasons behind why I started a mobile in-house dog grooming service, so check out my story below.
My Story
Meet my furbabies, Gizmo, Belle & Loki.
My dogs are my whole world, just like I am sure your dogs are to you. Unfortunately, my dogs aren't that great with a salon environment, or quite frankly leaving my side. Gizmo suffers with separation anxiety along with epilepsy and Belle has alopecia.
I know right, every groomers worst nightmare.....a bald dog.
After working amongst a variety of animal establishments to gain experience I decided to go back to university and study for my BSc Animal Welfare Degree, which covered a variety of topics from vet nursing, animal first aid, diet and nutrition, plus the welfare and legislation of animals which I graduated from in 2013.
After taking a short break from education, I threw myself back into a grooming academy and gained my Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Realising my dogs were never going to be suitable for salon or mobile van grooming I decided, "well, what if I brought the salon experience to your home instead" and just like that, in 2017 my in-house mobile dog grooming service was born.
I am extremely passionate about my work and proud to be voted one of the top 3 grooming businesses in Greater Manchester by 'Three Top Rated'
(I have recently moved to the Midlands)
I am always trying to expand my knowledge by attending seminars and workshops to ensure I bring the best products and services to my clients. I also thoroughly enjoy competing.
